It is situated less than a 2-hour drive from De Hoop Marine protected area.

We came in during a rain storm. The staff had the "fire" going in the fireplace, set out complimentary wine and allowed us time to shake off the cold. The rooms were luxuriously appointed... Ours had a separate sitting room with fireplace. Our daughter was across the hall. (Rooms 2 & 3) We had a wonderful 5 star dinner in the restaurant which was in the same building. Highlights: Roasted pear and beetroot salad. Moussaka, Stuffed chicken and Ostrich. We wish we had been able to fit more in!.
все обзоры » The restored building is tastefully(not smart) decorated. The hotel is situated in a quiet street where most of the buildings are restored which gives the street a special atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a double door opening on the stoep (which to me was very special). The staff was absolutely amazing!! The friendliness and excellent service of the staff members is hard to find. Chef Christopher even packed us snacks for the road. The dinner at De Wingerd Restaurant was delicious, so w. From the moment we stepped into this hotel we felt enveloped in warmth and friendliness. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Our suite was of the highest standard as was the food in the restaurant. We had personal attention from the chef/manager Christopher and throughout we were made to feel special. We were sorry we had only booked one night there. Lovely old "counry house" style hotel. Staff are so friendly and want to please. Very hands on manager who wants you to enjoy your time there.
