Everything you need for a layover at the airport...Shower, tv, coffe and tea pot and close to restaurants. You need a boarding pass to get to it...and maybe a reservation confirmation as we'll as it is located in the transit terminal. Look for signs for the Rijk museum and then you will see signs for the mercure hotel. -

This is a brand new hotel with very well organized room space. A standard twin room is not very big, but arrangement is such that you have sufficient space for everything. We had a stopover in Schiphol and booked one nights accommodation at the
Holiday Inn Express. The pick-up service from the airport was much
appreciated, the bedrooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was
good. The proximity of the railway station in Hoofddorf, which was a
short walk, was great as our flight the following day was an evening one

3 night stay - Hotel located very close to Metro line - station can be seen from the hotel - so if you are travelling by car, just leave it at the hotel and travel by public transport to the city center. There was a kitchenette with a two-burner stove, a microwave and a refrigerator. The room was comfortable and clean and it was quiet. There was ample room in the lounge area for hanging out and meeting people and the restaurant appeared to be well attended and a place to socialise.
