Our stay at La Maison was all and more than we expected. Much has already been said by others- but this B and B is very special. Luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean, and the owners and hosts look after every need. Breakfasts were generous and filling- you wont really need lunch! We were picked up from the station in Denis' London cab- and from that moment we were offered the highest standard of service and care. Thankyou Maison- we loved our stay. This was our second stay at Bienvenue Chez Nous and was as good as the first. Conveniently situated a hundred yards to the main square of Bergues with its bars and restaurants. Easy, free, parking right outside the hotel or in nearby streets. Friendly proprietors. Good quality breakfast. Free WiFi in the room, c.3Mbps. -

The Food is out of this world. 5 course Gourmet meal for 33Euros! A place to finish off a pleasant holiday to France. Only 30 Mins from Calais, so easy for getting to Eurotunnel, ferries etc. Where better to stay, beats the awful chains.

The Beatus was very clean and decorated tastefully. We were very comfortable there. It was a great location, with the center of Cambrai only a few blocks away. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful since it was set back from the street in lovely gardens. We would definitely stay there again.

We returned to the wonderful best Western Why for a night to attend the Lille Braderie. This is a great comfy little hotel with good sound proofing, great views and an excellent position just off the Grand Place. The guy who dealt with us on reception was very very kind and efficient.
This hotel is a little gem....modern, chic, perfectly placed for the centre of town.
Room was stunning, new, fresh and very trendy. High quality cosmetics in the bathroom. Nespresso machine with genuine cartridges. Free mini bar. It really couldn't get any better. If you have chance book a lunchtime meal, the chef is clearly very good. I will definitely return!

Everything, as long as you don't mind 10 minute walk to city. Buffet in Brasserie for both breakfast & dinner was very good and decent value considering range of food and quality. -

Very well located for ferry ports (10mins drive from Dunkirk). Our family room was lovely large room with 2 double beds. House is larger than appears from the outside and lovely rear garden which we were invited to enjoy. Owners were very friendly. We had a lovely evening meal in what looked like the only restaurant in town (only open certain nights a week, so worth checking). We parked in square which is 1 min walk from house.
