  The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. When we arrived at ilha grande we were immediately picked up by boat to go to the hotel. Although it rained a lot during our stay, the view and the excellent cooking made our stay one to remember for a long time - Bar and restaurant area overlooking the bay (amazing location to have drinks &am... что говорят » p; food). Excellent service with English speaking staff. Large rooms with views. As it is out if the main town it is very quiet and relaxing.

  Pousada Riacho Dos Cambucas was amazing! I can not say enough great things about them. Very helpful and nice staff who spoke perfect english. Great room with private bathroom and ac. Delicious breakfast each morning. One night the island lost power and our Pousada still had power! You must stay here when traveling to Ilha Grande! - Friendly staff... что говорят » . Comfortable air conditioned room with hammock on the balcony. Cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. Shower with hot water. Lovely breakfast with nice choice fruit, juice, yoghurt, several breads, cheese, cooked meats, jams, cakes, herbal teas and coffee etc. Very nice afternoon coffee and cakes.

  Ideal location, walking distance to village, but very private and secluded. Mere steps from small beach. Private boat to pick you and your bags up from main dock. Each room has veranda with hammock - lovely to sit and listen to the waves. Front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. Even have beach towels you can borrow. Fresh, varied bre... что говорят » akfast. Will go back again and again! - We had a wonderful stay at Sagu and the host, Jean Louis, and all the staff really looked after us. We were with another family and between us we had two toddlers. Our children were made to feel very welcome and the chef's made child friendly meals which we really appreciated. The bungalows had gorgeous beach and garden views and overall our stay was excellent.

  The Aratinga Inn was a fantastic choice! Rennie and her staff are wonderful and so helpful. She helped us figure out the best activities to do on the island, and provided such wonderful breakfasts each morning. Afternoon tea/coffee time was tasty too! My husband and I loved that it was a short walk (about 5 minutes) from the beach, so that we coul... что говорят » d walk off the giant dinners each night! And it's just far away enough that it's incredibly quiet and makes it easy to fall asleep! Definitely staying - I really liked my time at Aratinga Inn, everything was perfect. They have great staff and very clean rooms. The breakfast is very good with a variety of breads and hot dishes each day and also a big selection of teas. Also, one of my favorite thing about Aratinga Inn is the tea time, that is served in the afternoon (4-6pm) with cake, bread and also a delicious soup. Last but not least , the owner is a really nice person that gives great suggestions of activities and where to eat on the island.
