Spacious, comfortable room, spa bath with big towels, private and quiet location, good restaurant, comfortable bed. All made our stay a most enjoyable one, and we would have stayed longer than the three days if we could. Staff were lovely. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Enough pillows & towels. Toilet paper was decent. Bench space was excellent. It was quiet. The shower was AMAZING, I couldve stayed in there all day it was like having a massage. Wed definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Kate who was looking after reception was extremely friendly and made me very welcome, not cold like some of the bigger hotels -

I always stay at Jacksons in Adelaide. Its location just at the end of the freeway is very convenient for visitors driving in from Sydney or Melbourne or leaving for those places. The staff were excellent. My husband received a business call that required a fax and the staff were more than obliging. For the money we paid the room was clean and had all we needed. We would happily recommend Jacksons for those on a budget.

Absolutely on the waterfront with pelicans, ducks landing just outside the window if you ask for a waterfront room. Good selection of local eateries and great places to visit nearby. -

Good sized room, very comfortable bed, good shower! There is a restaurant with a good Menu selection at the Motel if you don't feel like going out. -

Lee and Judi were attentive and professional hosts who made us very welcome. The house is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was well done, especially the wide variety of country-style fruit dishes including peaches, rhubarb and plums, and free range eggs from their own chickens.

We only stayed one night and checked in close to dinner time. Our keys and welcome letter were waiting when we arrived (along with some chocolates and port). The room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. There is a communal living and dining area if you don't want to be stuck in your room. I liked the location of the hotel and also the size of the rooms. The Concierge was very helpful in booking day trips and the laundry I sent in was promptly returned. I also found the check in process to be very efficient and JP provided a good first impression of the hotel.

Beautiful location and a really pretty and romantic looking facility. Lovely staff and certainly value for money.
Room was airy and roomy and very clean. Comfortable with a living room feel and not just a bedroom. On arrival staff were very friendly and welcoming. Meal at the restaurant was superb.Room service was an unexpected bonus. -

This was my second trip to mt Gambier & it was a much better experience because of our host Simon. His knowledge of things to do that would suit my elderly mother & myself made it a very enjoyable visit. The house was very homely & we were instantly able to relax by the fire. -
