The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating---they were able to suggest a way to get to downtown without taking our van even though the commuter rail was not running. -

On our New England Tour we stayed here for the first night. The hotel is
not far from the highway, nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff,
has a swimming pool, a fitness room and a small store. Breakfast was
good and there was free coffee, tea or hot chocolate 24/7. -
The staff and the accommodations were excellent. The breakfast was great.

I like the look and the warmth of the facility. Very clean, didn't appear to crowded with guests. I interacted with several shuttle drivers who were all pleasant and very accomodating. My room was exactly what I reserved, quiet and away from elevators. The staff is very professional, knowledgable and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable and the pool, spa and all areas of the hotel is maintained at a high standard. The service from every employee is excellent. The breakfast is above average and the cinne buns are devine. -

Staff was extremely friendly. Agreed that the little food area in the lobby was extremely over priced and the food was not good but the people were so friendly that it almost made up for it! -
Room was large and comfortable. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast area was well kept and the Breakfast menu was properly priced.

Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport.

I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

An easy stay at a hotel with an excellent location for exploring Newport. My wife and I had a good night's sleep in the huge King-size bed and my baby daughter was in a comfy crib that was provided by the hotel. I'd definitely stay again. -

It had everything that we needed. The staff were especially helpful and informed us that the shuttle would take us to a restaurant for lunch. Since we were really tired of driving by this time and didn't want to try and find a good restaurant, this was greatly appreciated. The rooms were large. We had extra pillows. My husband always wants extra pillows. The bed had a lightweight throw blanket. I liked that. The ice machine and vending machines were close by. The shuttle was prompt and driver was nice. We were close to the airport.

Upon arrival the concierge paid attention to our personal trip plans and
upgraded our 2 queen room to a king room with full 2 person jacuzzi for
the same price - it totally changed the whole trip for us - we hardly
ever left the room!! We were within 2 minutes walking distance to some
of the best food in newport - and the beach was right across the street
