Agreed that the little food area in the lobby was extremely over priced and the food was not good but the people were so friendly that it almost made up for it! - Room was large and comfortable.   Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport. I will go again. - I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

  It had everything that we needed. The staff were especially helpful and informed us that the shuttle would take us to a restaurant for lunch.
