This was our first Bed & Breakfast so we were a little skeptical. We
were so pleased with the Inn Keeper Cindy. She went above and beyond to
make sure we felt welcome, and we were comfortable. Her breakfast was
fantastic but nothing topped her chocolate chip cookies! She even gave

The Bayberry Inn, our room was very nice and comfortable beds. We left
feeling very relaxed, this was a wonderful getaway! Thanks! -
The property was well maintained and the room was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. For early risers or late night arrivals there was either a continental breakfast or fresh cookies and beverages.
The full breakfast at 9am was a pleasant experience that started our day of exploring with a full belly. The room was very romantic and spacious. I will stay here again and their off season rates are very reasonable while still including the amenities.

Bristol B&B was a perfect home base for visiting Newport and
Bristol. Kathleen was a delightful hostess and the breakfast was

The Ivy Lodge itself was elegant and clean. Upon entering it felt like I
was walking into my inviting and ornate home of my dreams. Fresh flowers
decorating the tables every day, candy set out by the entrence. My room
had all the eccessories to make it comfortable, including a fireplace,
flat screen tv with dvd player, and a cozy chair to relax in

bathroom had extra supplies just incase we forgot something. The
breakfast was more than I expected. Anything I could imagine to eat was
availab -
Darlene was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and offered some great ideas for what to do, where to shop, where to eat, and where the locals go for fun. The Lodge offered discounted tickets to the Mansions and passes to the art museum. The breakfasts were fantastic, and it was nice to chat with the other guests during breakfast to hear what they were doing during their stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Ivy Lodge.

The Marshall Slocum Inn, was beautiful. It's a quaint, quite piece
of relaxion. We were on our short Honeymoon, myself and my husband. We
checked in and it was already very friendly. The hostess, greeted us
with a hand shake and her name. For some reason, we were upgraded to
bigger room. She walked us in and from there... It was sheer heaven.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! My husband and I spent five nights at the Marshal Slocum Inn and were impressed with the attention to detail -- from the elegantly appointed breakfast to the lovely rooms to the cotton bathrobes. Mark is a wonderful host who has created a relaxing homey atmosphere in a historic area of Rhode Island. The location of the Inn is perfect for seeing all of the sites.

It was perfect for our family get together. We had a floor for our family to share. 3 rooms with private baths, and a private gathering room with fireplace and couches and table for playing cards. It was perfect. The food was awesome, and presentation was perfect. The gardens were beautiful. -

We loved being in the thick of things in downtown Newport. We Loved Jane, the manager, who was very thorough, friendly, and helpful. We loved the sheets and th comfort of the bed. We Loved th view of the harbor from our room and the spaciousness of our room and sitting area.For the price, some higher qualitybaked goods would have been betterfor the included continental breakfast. I thought the Inn had everything that we needed for our week end in Newport, RI. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great. Plus, there was always a pot of fresh coffee. I would book this Inn again. Thanks to all the staff. -
