The Town House Boutique Bed and Breakfast in Perth proved to be the best of all the accommodation that was tried during our recent tour of Scotland.
A very spacious town house with views across the park, recently refurbished and tastefully furnished by the owners, it provided the perfect environment in which to enjoy the excellent service on offer.
Our hosts were at lengths to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and attention to detail was at the heart of their provision.

My first impression before meeting the owners was "gorgeous grounds and magnificent, historic home". Once I met the Clarks, it kept getting better. They could not have been more welcoming. Their luxuriously decorated accomodations, fabulous food and truly helpful service are among the best I have encountered in more than 20 years of staying in B & B's. Top notch in every way!

Everything about the hotel was first class. Staff very friendly and helpful, the service at all meals was very efficient and nothing was too much bother - even to making my husband a cooked breakfast earlier than breakfast was normally served. The food was excellent. The atmosphere at the hotel was calm and relaxing and the public areas had plenty of comfortable seating where you could just sit and absorb the beautiful scenery. It is also a short walk into Pitlochry.

Proprietor Angela is utterly charming and dedicated. The room was gorgeous with a view of the river to die for, our meal in the restaurant was delicious and our Scottish breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever eaten. -

My sister and I had a wonderful room which was very large and overlooked the River Tey. The sound puts you right to sleep. Restaurant was great - good food and good value. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Area is very beautiful. Our visit was in August 2013. -

I loved everything about this place, the hosts were warm and welcome,
the home made baking was delicious, the room very comfortable and the
breakfast was delicious. They even drew the Australian flag on the

All the staff were amazing, especially Michelle the receptionist and Ed the dining room supervisor. Every aspect was first class. We had our very friendly dog with us as we do on all our trips but from his point of view this was absolutely the best ever place for him to stay - really pet friendly. We loved it so much that we are about to book our next visit today, 2 days after returning home. Please, please go to the Fonab for an unforgettable experience. P.S. the food is exceptional.
