Swan House provides luxury within "olde worlde" surroundings.Our host Brendan was most welcoming and extremely helpful, providing pub and restaurant recommendations. We were offered afternoon tea and coffee in the bijou garden with locally sourced macaroons -fantastic! The freshly cooked breakfast was excellent.The whole ambiance of this upmarket B&B was superb, we had a great stay there.
todos opiniões » We were made to feel very welcome by Brendan, our very thoughtful and warm host. We stayed in the suite which is beautiful. A huge comfortable bed with excellent quality bedding. A log fire with squashy sofas to sit by in the lounge, and an excellent breakfast in the morning. I could live here!. The attention to detail.Breakfast was outstanding The friendly welcome and a haven of peace and quiet. Wonderful shops in the Old Town as well as the Fisherman's cottages and surrounding area. We received a very warm welcome. The building has a lovely "old-English" atmosphere and is very comfortable. The breakfast menu is probably the best I have seen. Home-cooked and delicious. cosy and welcoming atmoshpere. Log fire in tastefully furnished lounge. Bedrooms provided dressing gowns,and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was scrummy plenty of choice. Warm welcome; well-designed accommodation-not over-fussy; relaxed atmosphere; delightful garden area; wide choice of breakfast-imaginitive change from the 'Full English'. Very friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Positioned in the old town, so excellent for antique shops and pubs. Food was lovely and bed was very comfortable. Beautiful house, designed with taste- peaceful and cosy atmosphere. Warm welcome and excellent recommendations about the area. Fabulous stay all together!. The ambiance of the house, its unique setting and handy location for the sea,interesting retail attractions, pubs and restaurants. Brendan was very friendly, the breakfasts were delicious and the room was extremely comfortable. Excellent design in old (1450) building. Good breakfast and coffee. Excellent place to stay. A simple map would have been ideal. Heating did not work well. Dvd player requires simple instructions. Nothing not to like. there was nothing to dislike.
