O que as pessoas dizem
The beds were so comfy and their was a lot of attention to detail. We had everything we needed and the host & hostess were both welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and the way they take your order and set things out for you in the morning was great! The decor was fun and at times felt like we were in medieval times although we had all the luxuries of modern times. The spa bath was great. Our room was quiet and we slept so well. There were even bath robes provided! Great place t. todos opiniões »
The brilliantly executed mediaeval decor alone is worth coming to see. Add to this the friendly and informal company of Phil and Michelle and you have perfection. Home-made items on the breakfast menu are deliciously memorable, and the room was extremely comfortable. I saw (but did not occupy) the four-poster bed, and I am sure it would appeal to any couple.
The hotel is unique. It is beautiful in both presentation and charm. The owners Michelle and Phil are wonderful. Breakfast was amassing, would challenge anyone to eat all the sausages, and try all the jams. Genuine people who go above and beyond the entirety of there job. Really good value for money. Loved our stay would recommend to anyone.
Amazing B&B, very helpfull and warm-hearted owners, lovely cats, fantastic decoration in all rooms. Very good breakfast. We had a beautiful time at Minstrel`s Rest.
All attractions nearby. (We had seen Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle, Canterbury, the lovely village of Rye).
Thank you again for all Michelle and Phill!.
We went to see family and this was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The hosts were outstanding, the breakfasts were fabulous, and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The theming was consistent, and added some pleasure to our stay.
We will be returning to Hastings and would never consider staying anywhere else.
Friendliness, helpfulness, cleanliness, comfort (wonderful bed!), attention to detail (toiletries, towels, robes, fridge), breakfast - superbly cooked and excellent quality; homemade jams, quirky medieval themed decor, handwritten and sealed invoice. All in all a wonderful surprise. A delightful experience.
The welcome from Michelle and Phill was so friendly and helpful, a lovely couple and very interesting with their medieval information. Their recommendation for dinner was spot on. The ministrel's Rest was immaculate, comfortable and we had a very good breakfast, all in all a very enjoyable stay.
We cannot praise Minstrel's Rest highly enough. Michelle and Phil are wonderful hosts. They have thought of every little convenience. Breakfast was fantastic. You must buy some of the jam that Michelle makes, it's wonderful. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Can't wait to come back.
Very friendly welcome from hosts Phil and Michelle. Delightfully decorated house with a medieval theme, down to the suit of armour in the "banquet hall" and miniature dungeon doors on he skirting boards. Comfortable room and bed, great bathroom and sumptuous feast for breakfast.
Great welcome from Phil and Michelle. Loved the medieval decor . Suits perfectly with a visit to Hastings and the battle.
Offered every comfort to make your stay a memorable one and on leaving you we're handed a tiny envelop with a seal on the back.
We loved everthing from the warm welcome to our reluctant goodbye: the medieval atmosphere was fabulous, Phill and Michelle were even more fabulous. Bed the most comfortable we've had on our 7 week UK trip. Breakfast to die for. Wonderful bathroom.
The welcome on arrival was very friendly and phil and michelle were excellent the food was exceptional and the bed was soooo comfy , the little personal touches were very unusual for a B&B and i would reccomend the minstrels rest to everyone.
Wonderful B&B, Michelle & Phill are really lovely people who make you feel so welcome. Loved the breakfast and all the cute little touches they put on everything. If you go to Hastings you MUST stay here :).
The owners, Phill and Michelle are fantastic. They are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is superb, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and they make their own jams and mead.
A beautifully decorated themed guest house, friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, lovely food. Really enjoyed my stay I would definately stay again if we are travelling that way. I liked every thing.
Little touches - homemade jams / spreads, home made cakes when you return from days out. Fridge in room complete with milk, lots of sample shower gels etc, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST & EXCELLENT HOSTS.
Everything friendly owners who made us most welcome and the room really clean and comfortable with very modern on suite. Very comfortable bed big choice of menu for breakfast which was excellent.
The owners were a lovely friendly couple and were happy to chat. The breakfast is the best we have ever had at a Hotel or B&B. Yum. Will be visiting again next year. Thanks for a great stay.
The breakfast was the best we have ever been given. The owners are so helpful. They even minded a plant my husband bought! It is very clean and comfortable and the 11th century decor is great.

nothing it was all good.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Room could have been abit bigger. Very close to TV, wall & toilet door, had to move out of way if someone going in or coming out of bathroom.
Nothing really, but there are steep steps which would be a problem for some.
No negative comments whatsoever, it was all excellent.
The weather!! but even that did not stop us enjoying our stay!.
Not a criticism but was just a little too far to walk to and from town.
Nothing really. If i had to be picky, the bathroom/bedroom was a bit cramped but we had the smallest room. Nonetheless, it was still very comfortable.
Having to leave.
As it was very hot we slept with window open and did get some noise from the road.
bit congested street parking (hilly location), good use of rooms, but bit small.
i did not like having no ensuite.
Location was a little bit too far from town centre.

The sink in our en suite was very small.
It wasnt too clear when booking the second room we booked did not have an ensuite.
