Edificado em 1862, o primeiro hotel prisão da Suíça, fui utilizado como prisão central de Lucerne até ao Outono de 1998.
Onde os prisioneiros planearam fugas por mais de 135 anos, hoje os turistas e residentes de Lucerne desfrutam do exclusivo ambiente do Jailhotel e do Bar Alcatraz. Mas, atenção. Uma vez lá dentro, nuca mais vai querer partir. Podemos trancar-lhe à chave?

The great experience they have given us staying in a ex-Jailhouse!. All things are kept in tact to ensure the experience is complete. The concept of a jail converted into a hotel.A very convenient location for tourists. Interesting place and breakfast was good. todos opiniões
Good location if you want to be in the old part of town. Good shops andcafes nearby.The Experience. extremely helpful staff, close to station.the novelty of staying in a old gaol. Good breakfast, location good. Close to the city centre. It is in the center of the city.the rooms were a bit small. Having said that I do understand that it was a erstwhile prison. The doors got stuck and were difficult to open from outside.Novelty hotel with basic accomodation more like a good quality hostel.Quite noisy. bathroom stinks. sockets dont work. uncomfortable beds. very noisy! night club downstairs, contiki tour staying on same floor. No elevator.No power outlets in the room, no space to put anything. Jail theme isone thing but for 100 chf it shouldnt be so damn much like a jail cell -we could stay there for free!. Noisy people in front of the hotel when we were trying to sleep, we didget earplugs though.It is very horrible!!! It looks like a real jail, I don't like it, there's nothing in the room except two beds so that feel very uncomfortable.It is not really a hotel. It is a noisy discotheque (opens till 4 a.m.) with uncomfortable rooms upstairs.
