It's located in the centre of the souq and you do not expect to meet such a quite accomodation. The roof terrace is unbelievable. You have a perfect view on the medina and can enjoy the atmosphere. The Riad is about 400 years old and if you can have a look into the owners part.

Good location, right next to sand dunes. Hosts were very accommodating, Mohammed met us at the bus station and helped us with our baggage to hotel, and fed us dinner when we arrived.
We were looking to do sandboarding, the hotel helped arrange us a day trip for a reasonable price exactly as we wanted.
Breakfast on terrace was really nice.

From the moment we entered the Riad Benchekroun we were treated like cherished guests. Rachid and Fattah saw to our every need and helped with all our need including walking to our car, showing us where the secure parking was and helping with the luggage. We chose the room on the terrace and were rewarded with peace and beautiful views.

The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always ready to help.
Nothing was too much trouble - a real 'family' feel to the
hotel, although they have 10 rooms I think. The rooms were spotless and
beautifully decorated with a real eye for detail. Location is excellent
- very close to the gates so you don't have to carry your bags far. -

of big dunes of Erg Chebbi. The hotel is located in Hassilabied village
(4 km from Merzouga). I've found this village much more pleasant
than Merzouga. There are less hustlers pushing you to take a camel trip,

Merzouga too. You can walk from hotel to the big dunes by foot, takes
around 15 minutes. The hotel is run by berber family, very nice and
friendly. -
Very clean. Ali has his won teints and camels for the desert that makes all very clean and calm. He has a Land Rover for a 4x4 in the desert. The best guide from all Morroco. At arriving is best to email whit Ali to wait at the Supratours station in Merzouga(better price then the taxi and more confortable)

patron is French from Toulouse, who speaks English quite well, and his
wife is Moroccan, fluent in French. The patron kindly drove us into the

We had a great time in Riad Mamouche !
Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and food were good. There is a lovely garden at the courtyard. You can have breakfast ( in the sun ) on the roof-terrace overlooking the sand-dunes, the oasis and the camels. In the evening you can enjoy the fabulous stars here.
After dinner the staff accompanied us in making music with drums and singing, very amusing. We enjoyed a jeep ride through the desert organized by the Riad: 4 hours enjoying the beautiful

A beautiful place in the ksar, very friendly staff that make your stay a very pleasant one. Just a bit of dirt road through the small river bank, good to do with small rental car. Great small swimming pool, unexpected in a place like this. Standard but good food. A nice surprise in the suburb of Tinejdad! -

Everything was perfect! We booked a room at l'homme du Desert and got a really big, nice and clean room in berber style. The staff was really friendly! We also booked a trip with a driver around the desert, saw fossiles, an old coal mine, nomads in their tents, had a nice picnic next to the desert under a tree, etc. in the evening we made a camel trip into the dunes and stayed overnight. We arrived during a down pour and were totally drenched from head to toe. The riad owner immediately started a fire in the salon, found a couple of space hesters to warm us up. This a well run place and I recommend it.
