This is my second stay with Kimchee, and they're now my go-to place when I'm around Hongdae. The staff members are super friendly, they provide towels for free (whereas some hostels make you pay), and there's a little kitchen area that guests are free to use. Add to this the free wifi available in the whole hostel and there's not much to complain about.

Great place to stay with children. We stayed there last year and the kids wanted to go back again they enjoyed the wii and the communal area to relax in. They also liked making their own breakfast. Good location for shopping and easy to get to from the airport as well as getting round the city by the subway.

The location is really nice, in a cool neighborhood close to the main attractions of the city but not too crowded or turistic. The manager speaks great English and is really keen on giving good advices. He was really kind and helpful. The room was OK, we spent 2 weeks there and everything went fine ! NANCY and staff is very very helpful. They went all the way to help us arrange our trip to ski resort. Speaks very well mandarin and English. Location is very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to myungdong. Simple breakfast but good enough. Too bad we had to cut short our trip due to situation back home. Will definitely stay again.
