Kimchee hostel was located not far from Hongdae's busy area. First time I went there I asked the tourist information around Hongdae about the location of the hostel and the staff was giving me the address to be shown to a taxi driver. This is my second stay with Kimchee, and they're now my go-to place when I'm around Hongdae. The staff members are super friendly, they provide towels for free (whereas some hostels make you pay), and there's a little kitchen area that guests are free to use. Add to this the free wifi available in the whole hostel and there's not much to complain about.

Excellenthelp received from the various receptionists, in particular Connie. Without her the trip would not have been the same. The location of the hotel is just the best. The room was clean and comfy.

Great place to stay with children. We stayed there last year and the kids wanted to go back again they enjoyed the wii and the communal area to relax in. They also liked making their own breakfast. Good location for shopping and easy to get to from the airport as well as getting round the city by the subway.

The location is really nice, in a cool neighborhood close to the main attractions of the city but not too crowded or turistic. The manager speaks great English and is really keen on giving good advices. He was really kind and helpful. The room was OK, we spent 2 weeks there and everything went fine ! From staffs to supervisor, they are very supportive and flexible, indeed! They will try their best to get what you need. Still, the staff in charge of weekend during day time is not that nice.

NANCY and staff is very very helpful. They went all the way to help us arrange our trip to ski resort. Speaks very well mandarin and English. Location is very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to myungdong. Simple breakfast but good enough. Too bad we had to cut short our trip due to situation back home. Will definitely stay again.
