  Kimchee hostel was located not far from Hongdae's busy area. First time I went there I asked the tourist information around Hongdae about the location of the hostel and the staff was giving me the address to be shown to a taxi driver. But when we took taxi, it's not too far! the taxi fare gone high because traffic are everywhere in Hongdae (on wee... what people say » kend) so after I took a walk around Hongdae, I can definitely walk and the direction is so easy. It was a nice experience since this is my first time - This is my second stay with Kimchee, and they're now my go-to place when I'm around Hongdae. The staff members are super friendly, they provide towels for free (whereas some hostels make you pay), and there's a little kitchen area that guests are free to use. Add to this the free wifi available in the whole hostel and there's not much to complain about.

  The location is really nice, in a cool neighborhood close to the main attractions of the city but not too crowded or turistic.   The service is beyond compare. Nancy, the manager made us feel at home and even gave a small token for our little boy. We were allowed to check in very early in the morning and were offered breakfast immediately.
