Perfect hotel, very friendly staff, clean and very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and warm pool. It takes some time (15 minutes) to reach the sea. But for us it was positive moment - it is so nice to have walk.

It was a pleasant journey! The room is clean, cosy,nice see view, a outdoor swim poor in the garden, and a indoor swim poor open 24 hours. There is a lovely garden surrounded with various flowers, lemon trees and orange trees. It is quite and beautiful, we spent one night to sleep in the garden. We had enjoyed everything about Casa Vacanze Parco Del Generale. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, the accomodation is very comfortable, well-furniture and clean. There is a large well-kept garden around buildings, free parking, 2 swimming pools. The location is very close to main attracts. A free beach is about 7 minutes by walking, to Forio center is about 5 minutes.

The hotel is amazing, I highly recommend it if you are in Ischia, the best value for money we had in Amalfi coast. The hotel is located in big garden area,has its own private beach, nice kitchen, super service, special thank to Salvatore, Manager in the restaurant. You really feel special, rooms are very fresh, staff is highly attentive to your requests, the hotel has a nice spa area and good gym.

We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! Arriving a bit earlier than expected, the hotel staff treated us to cappuccino and cake while they readied our beautiful corner room complete with a spectacular view of the Castel dell'Ovo.

The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the
line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a
suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They
supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice
toiletries. Wi fi was free. The rooms are kept very clean also. We had a
balcony on the front of the hotel and looked out on the waterfront with
its boats, a castle that is lit at night, and Vesuvius looming in the

This is not a "top of the top" five star hotel but the friendliness and warmth of the staff will compensate for any luxury you are seeking. Beautifully situated on the beach, and close to all the shopping, I found the staff and other guests to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was more like a family home than a hotel. Superb! -
