We stayed in old part of hotel. Had just been freshly painted and was spotlessly clean. Brilliant location close to cathedral and very quiet. Had been told old part didn't have air conditioning, but it did and it worked efficiently. Room was modest, but cleaned each day and better than we had expected, given its 2 star status. Would definitely recommend it.

The staff were extremely helpful. The location was excellent. We had a 6 year old with us and the walk into Lucca city walls was managable. The bike hire arrangement was great and very resonably priced. The swimming pool was lovely. We will definately be visiting again and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking at staying in Lucca. - Staff

We only stayed for one night but we had a good time there. The lady who owns the b&b was really friendly. There is a nice and clean swimming pool with a garden. so I can't really say enough good things about them. We really
enjoyed the stay there, and in spite of some noice from local traffic
and trains, these were things that really reinforced the impression of
being a part of a lovely italian environment. We felt we were a part of
the neighbourhood and with the bikes the owners lent us we were I
