winter. Got excellent deal from travel agent, with free upgrade to a
lovely pool view - ground floor. Flew with Ryanair from LeedsBradford
airport and journey went without a hitch. Met at Chania airport by the

Location, nice price, friendly staff, suberb view and spacious room and
balcony or terras. (At the front of the hotel)
They have brand new mattresses of good quality! Not to hard and not to soft.
Although start of the season, they had allready filled the pool.
The grounds are very well maintained.
Free Wifi is available. Maybe not yet in all the rooms. But at the pool and in the lounge/lobby it works fine.
Everybody is motivated to make sure you have a wonderfull time.

The staff is wonderfully friendly and very helpful. The view is GORGEOUS! The food is very good and it is extremely quiet....very romantic and budget friendly for us as a new couple! :)
It is a quiet town on the mountain so it is recommended that you have a vehicle to get around ;)

Very quiet place, only olive trees around. Close to several good beaches by car. Good tavernas in the nearby villages. The villa ( A2) was very comfortable, has all the facilities. Our veranda was covered and we could use it all day round.

If wondering where to eat at night, turn right after leaving Marika, walk dow - Marika's is a find. It is a relatively old development of nine studios and appartments undergoing gradual refurbishment. So the rooms are much bigger than average. The location in Exopoli at the top of the hill behind Georgioupoli affords terrific panoramic views. The pool is big and 2.4m deep with a diving board - rare in newer places. Homely atmosphere.
