This family run B&B was welcoming, comfortable, had onsite parking and was quiet. It felt like home. It is on the main road on the edge of the commercial strip across from the RSL. It is within walking distance of the beach.

It was close enough to the town centre but was still quiet, the owner was very helpful and friendly, the room was a good size and very comfortable, and everything was clean and welcoming. Didn't try the brekkie so can't comment on that but the choice of food and the price was great.

The room was small but was always kept very clean. The hotel is in a quite location and it is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station which was very handy. The breakfast was great. than expected and we were quite comfortable for our four nights. George
and family also provide your choice of a great breakfast. The location
was good, we walked to the harbour and only took transit a couple of
time but the hotel was easy for using bus or train.

Our Host and Hostess went above and beyond for us, offering to drive us to our friends wedding when we couldn't get a taxi, and baking us fresh banana bread for afternoon tea. Absolutely gorgeous location, excellent personal service, reasonable rates for the area and a very friendly dog that will greet you on arrival! We would definitely return.

We stayed in Thistle Hill for 2 night celebrating my partners birthday. I have visited Hunter Valley previously and have to say this Guesthouse is one of the top stays I have experienced. Beautiful decor with attention to details, Thistle Hill grounds are stunning, breakfast very tasty with great choice of food, and Carol's baked pears just delicious!! We will definitely come back later this year.

We very much liked the accommodation in the cottage. The breakfast in the main guesthouse was very much home made, plentiful and delicious. As we were visitors from the UK, the arrival of kangaroos during the late afternoon on the distant grass patch was an added bonus. Thank you for a great stay Linda. -

The hosts were extremely friendly but at the same time respectful of privacy. Room was beautiful as well as gardens. Nice linen , soft towels and decorative furnishings. Room had chocolates and port. Breakfast and afternoon teas were plentiful and delicious. Candlelight and music created a romantic ambience. Native birds flock there. Free wifi.

I had a great time at Chatswood Inn. I can't say much about the room itself (it's OK but nothing special), but it was perfectly clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is quite close to Chatswood train station, which is about 15 minutes from the city center on a frequently served train line.

This is the third time that we have stayed here as a stopover on a drive from Sydney to Northern Gold Coast. Riverview Lodge is in a very pretty, quiet setting. Set back from the street in a nice quiet location in a cul de sac so there was no passing traffic. We stayed in the Tuscan room which although it was the smallest was quite adequate. Very welcomeing, friendly, it was like you were staying in someone's house. Our host Graeme was helpful and hospitable and cooks a yummy breakfast. We came in on cold night to a warm cosy room. There was also a fire in the lounge room if you wished to sit there. We found our room comfortaleble and stayed there with a glass of wine.The first 1st photos is of the room we stayed in, so I know them to be true.

Julie, our host is a warm and inviting lady. She made us feel at home.

Breakfast is good, on our last day, she even made some passionfruit jam.
At night, we can see the sky lit up with lots of stars. In the day, we get to catch some kangaroos in the wild nearby the B&B.

Julie was very welcoming and informative - nothing was too much trouble. The home cooked breakfast was perfect, and the place was clean, comfortable and pleasant. We were welcomed as we got out of our car by Mojo (the dog) who is just delightful. We intend to stay again in the near future. Highly recommend this B&B - it was a very pleasant stay.

This is a great little place about 10-15mins north of Coffs Harbour and inland from the highway (note that the highway is currently under works so diversions in place but it's well signposted). Ben was amazing when I called in the morning and gave clear directions and even said if you struggle to find Santa Fe to call and he'd direct me in. There

The grounds of the accommodation -
We often hear that a location is a hidden oasis. But Santa Fe really is. Unfortunately we could only stay 2 nights. On our next visit it will be a few days. The B&B is delightful. Sharon is the consummate hostess, the breakfasts are wonderful.
The rooms are delightfully decorated and the lounge etc are very relaxing and comfortable.
But it is outside that Santa Fe really comes into its own. In 6 acres Sharon and Ben have transformed the area into a really interesting exploratory sensa
