  We used Visalia as a base to visit Kings Canyon. It was a cosy, clean and friendly motel with an appealing pool and a great grill next door for breakfast, lunch and diner. Great value for money, friendly people at the reception. Room was spacious and tidy, air con worked perfectly and not one of those old noisy things you'll see elsewhere.   the price was good, the location near sequoia national park is excellent. I didn't remember the Motel itself, so i think everything was as expected, otherweise i would have remebered. - the poolwas well frequented. Location to the Hational park. Very quiet at night....we didn't hear other residents coming or going

  It was comfortable and the staff were courteous! The only problem was the pool which we could not use for our entire trip because they had trouble balancing the water. Otherwise, the staff were great and the hotel room was just fine. Location is great too in case you want to be traveling to Sakoia National Park, it is less than 40 miles away.
