The Regency was easy walking distance to everything I needed in SF: Union Square for my conference, the BART line to and from the airport for a reasonable price, and tourist attractions like the F line to Fisherman's Warf. The staff at the Regency was very helpful and friendly.

The staff was amazing! I had a unique situation, with moving halfway
across the country with my new job, allergies, & a car. They worked
with me and accommodated all of my wishes. The eggs (whites), fruit, and
waffles for breakfast were big plusses. Also, the Wi-Fi was secure and I
needed that for work. I will probably stay there again during my
transition. The neighborhood is great too!

Good budget-friendly hotel. We stayed for 2 days & walked or bussed
the whole time. Very central location to everything. We walked from the
hotel to Pier 39/Fisherman's Warf, Chinatown, North Beach, Union
Square, then would take the bus back. We did this with a 5 year old
& a 2 year old. The rooms were clean & tidy with plenty of
space. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was wonderful. The parking was ok. tight spaces. Our car got a good size scratch from the car that parked next to us. Since is it on Lombard street we were happy that they had onsite parking, instead of having to park on the busy street. Continental breakfast was ok. -

Nic - It's a delightful, charming little inn, centrally located and a good bargain. The location was very near Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The staff were excellent: friendly and helpful and were able to give us great tips. The cookies were a huge hit with the children and the access to hot tea ( something not so common in USA) was wonderful! The hotel was quiet and although the eating area for breakfast is small, there was never a problem finding somewhere to sit and eat. Having parking was also excellent.
