You can walk to the piers from this hotel, its .8 miles away so not bad
at all. I suggest parking in the lot across the street from this hotel,
its $27 a day as opposed to $50 for Hilton parking (although it isnt the
prettiest). -

The location and hotel was fantastic-didn't want to leave. It's a quiet hotel well located and confortable - The Le Meridien was a great hotel and it was also in a great locationnear all the attractions. We had a lovely stay and would recommend thishotel to anyone looking for a nice stay in San Francisco.

I had to step up the itinerary of my trip by two days. Although I
didn't get the same room class/price, the day manager worked
with me over the phone to get a room booked. When I arrived, the (same?)
manager noted that we had one small child, and changed the room to
accomodate, without changing the price. There is a sink in the room, as

Showers, bathrooms close to room,no street noise, wf in lobby, vending
machines, location, room cleaned every day, bed made, fresh
linen,Microwave,fridge,large closet,dresser,small night table. I have a
bad back so the bed with a not soft mattress was great. The hotel is
steps away from coffee shops, espresso parlors, City Lights books, Grant
Avenue that leads to Chinatown, walk along Grant catch the cable car,
end up at Union Square and all the big shops. I intend to stay here
