  The room was great, but the trip to fort Bragg was on a narrow winding road. We were prepared to love it there, but will not go back because the drive was too nerve wracking. - Stayed one night while driving along coast. Upgraded on arrival. Good location on edge of town with pleasant river view. Very helpful reception person.

  I liked the location. I am a family member of long time residents of Ft Bragg, mother, uncles, sister, neices & nephews. We have always stayed at Tradewinds because it accomidated many members of out of town family and the resturant was a plus. Always the place to stay when coming up for funerals, weddings, reunions etc. Now it is Motel 6 and I am hoping it will get spruced up on the - Close to 'Down Town' Fort Bragg. Next to Rite Aide (kinda handy) the bar in the hotel has a live DJ on Friday and Saturday, this seemed popular with locals but did not keep us up. It looked a lot better than the Travel Lodge down the street for the same price. If you are not staying in one of the fancy romantic B&B's then you could do a lot worse.
