Delightful surroundings, a charming building that has been sympathetically and recently restored to a very high standard. The Staff provided an outstanding service, ably supported by an excellent chef. The evening meal was excellent; terrific flavours and superb value for money, as was the breakfast. And if you like a good ale there are plenty to choose from. Very highly recommended.

Staff, Cathy, cook and evening barman very friendly and helpful. All facilities were immaculately clean and shower/bath/hairdryer/kettle were all in perfect working order. Beds were very comfortable. Food was tasty and of high standard and all were reasonably priced. Would recommend a stay at the fleece and would definitely return should I revisit Haworth.

Only stayed for one night at the Edgerton Guest House in Huddersfield and was very impressed! Spotless rooms and very beautyfully done, very comfortable bed, very nice building and again room spacious! Staff very helpfull and friendly and welcoming! Ikhlaq does a wonderful job... The staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were very warm. I have no complains however I would like to suggest that the place could do with more housekeeping staff (having been a chamber maid myself at one time) otherwise its good value for money. -

We arrived early before booking in time and the staff were very helpful they let us leave our luggage there while we went for a walk. Went we came back they had put our luggage in our room which we thought was a nice touch. Good views from the hotel. Plently of parking space. Good selection of real ale beers. -

A family hotel whose staff were amazingly helpful and attentive - even swapping us to a ground-floor room (due to a broken ankle) without needing to be asked and despite its being a family room rather than the twin we had booked! Delicious breakfast, with generous variety (both continental and cooked). Superb location for the universities - just across the road. Right on bus route for shopping or bus/coach/train stations. Yet a feeling of being in the country - "at home" in the country. Thank

I would describe the inn as a successful pub with rooms for guests. The restaurant staff take care of the incoming guests. They are very helpful. We were welcomed immediately on arrival by friendly staff. Our room was spacious, clean and very impressive. There was plenty of information about the hotel, restaurant and local attractions available in the room. We ate in the restaurant and were very impressed by both the standard of food and service. The Calverley Arms provided a level of service rarely found in some hotels charging three times their rates. We'll be back!

The design of the room was lovely and very inviting. The breakfast was a highlight, absolutely excellent! Location was brill, was quiet, but two minutes walk to the centre. Overall a relaxing stay, we felt very refreshed afterwards. -

Quality. Professional. Commited. Experienced. We would return to this guest house. It was in a very pleasant location. The owners were friendly and helpful.
