A great welcome, Friendly, Clean, Would have stayed longer but we was booked in across the road at the Craig y nos castle which i'm sorry the rooms are not worth the money at £150 per night but this B & B is 100% Worth the money for £65 per night so me and my husband recommend this totally.

The hotel is set in a nice location convenient to Hay-on-Wye and the Black Mountains.
The staff were excellent. They were friendly as well as efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them and made a nice stay even more special.

Quiet,comfortable,room
with parking facilities nearby. Comfortable bed, lots of floor space.Good quality furnishings . The full English breakfast was excellent, piping hot and individually prepared not self served from buffet trays that ,in many hotels are luke warm after standing for some time.
Shower in ensuite was powerful easy to adjust and water temperature perfect.
Soft towelling robes supplied was a very nice touch .

Ground floor twin room is ideal for people who can't do stairs. Convenient wet room shower en suite. Easy free parking and easy access to outside seating. stay there thanks to Bernice and John.They're wonderfull,friendly
and welcoming people who make their guests feel like at home and almost
as a part of their family.John helped us a lot by giving as tips where
to go and what places to visit.Not forgetting his lovely,tasty
breakfasts with daily,freshly baked bread and fresh eggs from their own

A friendly welcome from Mark, not too much fuss. The whole house was beautifully presented and immaculate- I think it is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The bed and bedroom were very comfortable and the breakfast excellent, I could eat nothing else all day till the evening. -

Stayed in Room 1 - fabulous huge room with en-suite bathroom, wardrobe, period fireplace, 'home comforts' (TV, tea/coffee facilities) and best of all, extremely comfortable and cosy king-size bed.
Room was spacious and tastefully decorated.
Breakfast (full British) was delicious and arrived quickly when ordered.
