Friendly staff, lovely decorated bedroom room, lovely bathroom comfortable bed. Loved the fact there was complimentry water, free wifi. The complimentry newspaper was a really nice touch too. The facilities are everything you would expect from an establishment such as The George -the room was magnificent and the ambience of the hotel relaxing and welcoming. The staff are clearly focussed on guest comfort. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will certainly make a return visit soon.

The house was excellent. The stairs were steep but it was a lovely place to stop. As long as you like climbing Steep Hill you will enjoy the area on the way up. Go there and try it. I will certainly go back. -

The apartment that we had was ideally situated for easy access to town and also to the surrounding countryside which we enjoyed immensely. The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished and clean. The Queen size bed was very comfortable and we could not fault any of the accommodation or the service provided.

A rare Gem, a typical English country Lodge and all that goes with it, Extremely friendly, high comfort rooms and excellent .. Excellent food ! As a seasoned traveller I have not stayed at a better Lodge. I have already booked rooms for our Company for it's next contract in that area. Outstanding and excellent value for money.
