  Friendly staff, lovely decorated bedroom room, lovely bathroom comfortable bed. Loved the fact there was complimentry water, free wifi. The complimentry newspaper was a really nice touch too. Its those little things that sets the George apart from other hotels in the UK. The doorman who helped us with our luggage was professional and helpful. Love... wat mensen zeggen » d all the different eating rooms, they seem to have a nice atmosphere but sadly we didn't have evening dinner at the George but have resolved to come - The facilities are everything you would expect from an establishment such as The George -the room was magnificent and the ambience of the hotel relaxing and welcoming. The staff are clearly focussed on guest comfort. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will certainly make a return visit soon.

  The house was excellent. The stairs were steep but it was a lovely place to stop. As long as you like climbing Steep Hill you will enjoy the area on the way up. Go there and try it.   The apartment that we had was ideally situated for easy access to town and also to the surrounding countryside which we enjoyed immensely. The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished and clean. The Queen size bed was very comfortable and we could not fault any of the accommodation or the service provided.
