  We stayed at the Pembroke for 2 nights Friday until Sunday. We were warmly greeted by Alan who showed us to our room and explained how the shower etc worked. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. We were given a family room but there were only 2 of of us so plenty of room.The location was great just across the road from the pub.   Made to feel very welcome by Lorna and Simon, really friendly. Very clean and spacious family room. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. They were very kind to let us check in early as we were arriving by train in the morning.   From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room. The room was very clean,it was at the rear of the building.
