  Seton Guest House offers excellent value in a location very close to Glasgow city centre. Alastair the owner was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. He is a Glasgow native and is extremely knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was great and is cooked fresh when you get up. I walked into the centr - Alistair was by far the most hospitable and friendly host we've met on our trip so far. Even racing around after breakfast and looking after his sick partner he still had time to stop and chat about Scotland's history and about Stirling Castle. He even advised us on a better route to reach our destination because it was more scenic- which is was! The room was big and the bathroom as well.   After reading some reviews I was a little worried about staying here but please don't let the bad reviews put you off. My stay was wonderful. Easy to find, the receptionist who greeted us was polite, and helped us pay for our parking.
