We were there for a wedding and the staff were excellent and food was excellent and different from the standard - We had a fantastic stay, the food was service was 1st class, the room was 1st class, the staff were 1st class, it was more like staying on a cruise liner than a hotel,

The service was very efficient and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The settin is a perfect example of an English village with a village green, & was very peaceful.

You felt as if you was at home. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and made it feel very welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding.   It is as if time has stopped. Beautiful and of great historical value. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Staff is very helpfull and they enjoy their job which is very important. High class. two dumbs up ! - I was there for a family wedding and everything about the hotel, location and staff was abslutely fantastic. would thooughly recommend it
