great value for money if bought well in advance reasonable position to entertainment centre, its basic + hotel very clean , staff friendly, my room was over a major road , but never heard traffic , breakfast @ 4.95 was continental style but eat as much as you like , and special snack deal was good valye sandwich snack dink & fruit @3.95.

Excellent value for money. (An added bonus was its location alongside the grammar school I attended 1943-48 which I hadn't seen since then!) - We were attending a local wedding and all the staff were very helpful providing directions and information regarding the venue.

There was a problem with the heater in my room but within a few minute of me having reported it to reception a portable heater was provided.The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Excellent little traditional Inn, with ultra-friendly staff with eight real Ales on tap, four of which are brewed in the micro-brewery downstairs. the ease of how we booked and felt safe to just turn up and get a service which we trusted.
when we arrived we felt @ home in our stay.
it was a short vacation in between properties of buying a new dream home.
we will now have long memory's from our stay.
