  Very friendly and helpful staff and they really made an effort to make us feel welcome. Food was good and well priced. Always clean and even though the surrounding location seemed a bit neglected the hotel was kept very well and we always felt secure. Breakfast was good enough. If you are looking for a homely feel then don't book here but if you want great location and clean, comfortable rooms Baan Boran is perfect for you. Would book here again

  Staff is very friendly, the hotel is clos to Khaosan road, they book ataxi if you need it, the rooms are very nice, its very quiet - All the above plus location was convenient to sites, easy walking distance to restaurants,etc.

  Location is perfect if you want to buy some souvenirs, try streetfood and want to feel the nightlife. It's right on khao san road but in my room I didnt realize that - very quiet!   A perfect place to stay and immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of Th Khao San road! We had a deluxe room at the back of the hotel (no windows), so didn't hear any of the noise from the street at the front (and it does get noisy)! The next morning I paid 20 baht and got freshly cooked fried rice from a street vendor - much nicer! All in al - The hotel is quite good, the staff suggested taking a windowless room which is more calm and quiet if we prefer to have a rest after a long journey. And it was a great idea. The AC is working seamlessly, so the window is not neccesssary if you just need a place to sleep in the very centre of Bangkok. And the swimming pool at the top is a good idea (if you can make it on time, as there is a lot to do and it is not easy to get home before midnight). When checking out you can leave the luggage in

  We had a wonderful one night stay, it was a little nosiy but then we expected this, we had a few drinks by the pool before heading out on the town and the next day we used the luggage room for the fee of 20baht per item/bag . We were still allowed to use the pool while we waited to take a bus at 6pm on the day of check out. It's right on khaosan road and in the thick of the tourist action, a great place to mee - In the middle of Khao San Road Much more quiet than expected Room was very nice and clean We came to Bangkok by bus from Koh Samui and arrived at 4 am. We went to the hotel and were allowed to put our backpacks in their storage room. After somebody checked out, they made up our room at about 5:30 in the morning. We checked in and could get some sleep (even if we haven´t paid for that "night") Thanks again, that was really nice!!!

  I just really liked this hotel. It is on Khosan Road so it does get noisy, but it does not last throughout the night. If you are early to bed....then you may want to go elsewhere. The best part, and you don't see this often, was the shower - plenty of hot, lovely clean - We requested an early check in, and they let us check in at 6am, which was great as we arrived by bus from a 14 hour trip. The rooms were not anything to write home about, but they were clean, and the location was great.
