5 star it is not but if you are looking for old world French, which we were, it is excellent. The hotel was located in the middle of our transportation needs and we found the getting around from there was very easy. The food,wine and cheese was very good. if I return to Caen this will be where I will stay. -

THe staff were very welcoming, helpful and professional. As it was an overnight stop in our journey, it was good to be able to have an evening meal in the hotel and the meal was of a good standard. - Exceptional staff and very attentive to our needs. It was clean and the kitchen had what we needed to prepare our food when we were not eating out. A good location with small shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall an good experience and great for access to Bayeux and the D-Day beaches.

Easy to find (look for UHC which is the hospital) and close to the center (7 min by car). Plenty of parking space. The room was nice and clean. Flat screen tv and English channels. The wifi network worked well. 24h desk and they speak English. - Reasonably quiet easy to get to from ferry and into to Caen

I loved everything about this hotel. It was cool and clean and nicely decorated and my room was absolutely perfect. I got the cheapest room in the entire hotel and it was still wonderful. Everything was spotless and very comfortable, there was free wifi, and a really good breakfast service. The best part was the young man working at the counter. H

I staggered into the hotel reception having heart attack, the receptionist called an ambulance. Another hotel employee took my luggage to the hospital the next day and that was more than helpful to me especially as I needed a few items. His English was very good and he contacted my family and a friend for me. He even contacted the police so my car was not given any parking tickets, It made such a difference to the event and I am very grateful to all the staff. I can't imagine all hotels handli

The hotel staff was very accomodating, especially because we arrived after the desk closed and they left a note for us to enter. Also we had five people staying in a room for four, and they had no problems providing us with an extra bed, towels, etc without us even asking for it. The room was very clean, and we even had a balcony! And the price
