  When I first read the on-line guests reviews, I have to admitt that I was a bit worried to reach there. I was instead pleasantly surprised. Very modern lobby, clean and large room, bed very comfortable. We could hear a bit the noise from the Laurier Boulevard but it will stop during the night.   The staff members were fantastic. They attended to you whenever requested. The views in the rooms are excellent. The pool and workout room were incredible. It is a very trendy hotel and a great price. The room service was not expensive and was great. - The most beautiful and comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in.

  The location was excellent! It was near the highway and a very short drive from Old Quebec City and Montmerency Falls. The staff were extremely helpful and answered all my questions with ease. They provided maps on how to get somewhere and then back to the hotel. That does not happen very often. The Hotel is situated about 15 minutes by car to the Old City of Quebec and there is plenty of parking available at a cost of $15 for the whole day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and although they all speak English, they appreciated our (very poor) attempts at French.We ate often in the Saint James, and enjoyed the food and atmosphere there, as well as the friendly and efficient staff.   The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful to us regarding the city bus route to take into the city. The bus took 25 minutes and ran so frequently that there was never a long wait.   The Chateau Laurier is a lovely clean hotel and very close to the Old City. The room was nice and roomy and the staff were excellent, polite and helpful. This hotel would be perfect for those traveling with children. We had a great stay!
