The staff were exceptionally knowledgable, pleased to help with grace and delight. The hotel is an obviously interesting old building which had been wonderfully kept, clean comfortable and cool in the heat, the high ceilings were a boon. Breakfast was delicious constant fresh supplies were brought in for me the best- great coffee! We had rooms facing the road and were surprised that there was no noise issue to disturb us. Great value.

Nothing was to much trouble. looking forward to see what the do with the Hotel O their plans sound exciting. the location is just of the main square so you don't have far to travel to the key sites. we love Ypre and everything it has to offer and this hotel is central for all of it. -

Rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. Food was excellant quality, staff helpful and friendly. An excellent and up market B&B. The owners,Michael & his wife were the perfect hosts and were always friendly,helpful and accomodating.The lovely breakfast was brought to us every morning at a time of our choosing and was very good quality.Fab room with satellite tv, free movies, well stocked drinks fridge and an eco wood burning stove.We loved our stay, and would readilly recommend B&B Yoake as one of the very best we have stayed in.Thanks Michael for your hospitality!

Extremely efficient - we arrived late on a Sunday and everything was laid out at reception ready for us - just pick up the key and go to the room!!!! Marvellous. The Hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area, just puuuurrrfect. Be concious that this is not a 5 star hotel, it is quite basic but has everything needed for a comfortable stay. -

Handy for the main square for dining, the Cloth Hall in the centre of
Ypres and an easy walk to the Menin Gate. A warm welcome, nice cooked
breakfast at a time to suit the guest not the Hotel. The picture in the
dining room of two stone masons working on the lion that sits on top of
the Menin Gate took on a whole new significance when Peter told us that
the stone masons were his great and great great grandfathers. No reason
not to stay here again and probably will

The hotel was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including arranging a battlefield tour for us. We had a substancial breakfast each morning which set us up for the day. The hotel was just a ten minute walk from the station and about the same to the city centre. Hoping to pay another visit in September.

Everything about the Ter Thuyne was perfect. The room was spacious, the breakfasts first class and the location was handy for all the tourist attractions, rail and bus stations. Near to everything but still peaceful and quite. -

I have ticked City trip as there is no accurate choice. This is for the
dedicated wwi enthusiast and the "In Flanders" museum &
Mennin gate are within a two - five minute walk from the Alliance. For
us vet's it is a must and quite moving. I was impressed by the good

Central location in Ypres. Clean, simple, comfortable, functional rooms
with excellent shower. Breakfast was continental, boil your own eggs,
cereals, juice, cold meats and cheese with fresh bread and each table
had its own bowl of fresh bread rolls and pastries. Very nice and as
substantial as you want it to be. There was a bar area but so close to
the town centre there are many restaurants and bars to spend time in so
I never saw anyone using it although it was possible. Also no evening
meals

Marc and Sonja are a very friendly couple and nothing is too much
trouble to make your stay enjoyable. We had a problem with our car
during our stay and they helped us tremendously - making phone calls to
garages, driving us to collect the car and lending us bikes to use.

I had informed of a very early arrival to Sonia, owner and if we could leave our bags and use a loo etc. She was brilliant and as the room was available she had got it ready as we arrived at 09 30 hrs. Mark* her husband spent quite some time with us to outline numerous places of interest concerned with WW1 fields and wrote down a detailed list of proposed sights to view. they were both very welcoming and made us feel easy to move around.
