  My sister and I loved our stay in Hallstatt. We were upgraded to a junior suite on the top floor of the main house - with a very convenient elevator not far away. You wouldn't have known that though as they cleaned up very quickly. Our room was divine. Luxurious, comfortable, and extremely clean. The view of the lake from our balcony was breathtaking. The views of the surrounding mountains and lake are breathtaking, although from this location they are interrupted by other buildings.   The design of this hotel is superb! It has the charm, warmth and elegance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a lake view room and I wish we could have stayed there longer. The view is breath taking. The room had all the ameneties, bath room ameneties are excellent to the details.   Was looking for hotel in St Wolfgang. This offered good facilities at good price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only meal taken in hotel was breakfast and it was good. - The hotel was in a perfect location and was very clean and comfortable. We would love to go back.
