  We had a great two days at the Landhotel. The owners and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and they provided excellent service.   This apartment is about as close to perfect as one can get. It is owned by an English couple who retired in the area. They were informative, helpful, and friendly from our very first communication. The apartment itself is immaculately clean and everything is excellent condition. Bad Ischl is a perfect location for exploring the entire lake district. There are many options for hiking, - 1. Mr. and Mrs. Herridge were two very friendly British people and can speak both English and German. They were helpful with our travelling plans and offered very good service. 2. The appartment was big, clean, well furnitured and warm in winter. 3. From the bedroom we had a very good sight of the Alps. 4. Covenient traffic: the Bahnhof is only 5 minutes away and trains connect Hallstatt and other beautiful towns. City centre is also very near where you have everything.
