We booked in for Saturday 13 April 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed our brilliant one night stay. The whole experience was delightful and my mother visiting from New Zealand was genuinely excited about her new experience in Margaret River. It was my first visit too and I am very impressed with the Margaret River region as a whole.

This Motel was excellent and the rooms big and airy with big windows and rooms it was spotless in the rooms and bathroom areas a credit to the cleaners .The motel was a good walk into Margaret River town and all facilities .The breakfast was also excellent and served in a great area that overlooked a small lake with inside and outside dining. We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at Cottage no.7, which is a 3 bedroom superior cottage. Vinnie is great with the kids, my elder son whom is 3 years old loves him. As with Sydneyresident, we experienced the power failure which affected the whole town and a few towns over. Vinnie brought around the portable generator so that we could have a quick shower and head out for activites. There's plenty to do around the area and all within 30min -90mins drive.

There was a minor misunderstanding with the booking but it was dealt with in a very friendly and efficient manner and while we waited for the room to be made ready we were offered complimentary drinks, we were also given a very generous discount. In addition the staff and locals in the bar were very friendly. -

the location and view was gorgeous. the Chalet well fitted. there was a fire ban so a young man dropped off a gas BBQ for us. He was so chuffed we couldn't tell him it needed a gas bottle too!! -

The location is great. We stayed in the beach villas, with a balcony right on the beach... the only room type to book in my opinion (if you stay in the garden villas, other review comments apply about the "caravan park like setting"). But the beach villas were nice, dolphin viewing great - I wouldn't stay anywhere else (unless you have a very tight budget)

This cottage was spacious, clean and so comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage & it was a great base to go sightseeing or just to head to the beach or into Geraldton. The booklet with tourist information on what you could do in the area was fantastic & helped us to plan our trip & where to go for dinner etc.. Thoroughly

The guest house was located close to Marine Terrace and a number of restaurants. Jackie enabled us to gain access to the room prior to the normal check in time as we had driven from Perth to attend a family funeral.
The guest house was lovely with its polished floor boards and decor. Although there was no reception access to the room was simple.
Great value for money!!

Friendly owner, nice clean rooms with interesting décor for our room it was decorated with souvenirs from New Zealand. Very comfortable king sized bed. New bathroom. Pool available although it was a cool weekend so we did not take a dip. Nice communal living area and lovely breakfast room with nicely cooked omelettes as my choice for breakfast. Easy access to the airport and the country.
