  The staff was awesome. The reception staff, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, all so friendly. It was clean, and the hotel is near the station, and very close to the famous Chapel Street (Restaurants/Shopping) Very good value for money, and the room was comfortable. I would surely go to the Claremont next time I am on holidays around Melbourne. I do ... co mówią ludzie » recommend it to students/backpakers/travellers/couples and anybody who is looking for a very 'good value for money' hotel, cheap, and (close to town). - It is not a luxury hotel and is at the lower end of the price scale, but it is excellent for what it was. The place was kept immaculately clean and the staff were assiduous and very helpful. They were extremely good in serving breakfast, which was another bonus, and the front desk team were very friendly and accommodating. I thought this hotel superb value. It is right beside South Yarra Metro station, which has very frequent service 6 minute to and from the central part of Melbourne.

  the place is an excellent option for those like me travelling with family and spending all day out exploring the city and surroundings, great and friendly service all trough from cleaning helper to management staff, facilities were much more than i was expecting for the price and location superb. - Conveneince to the local markets and city not to... co mówią ludzie » o far away and ccommodation for the bicycle. Staff were very friendly and even arranged for local taxi and bookings at YHA in the Blue Mountains.

  The location, so close to St Kilda beach & shops. Only 10 or so mins by tram to Melbourne city centre. Being a backpackers', it was cheap, but comfy & very friendly. We only needed a bed & place to leave our luggage, so it suited us well. Rooftop BBQ, smokers' area. Staff were friendly and welcoming, great for the budget traveller specially with location. Public transport just down the road. Plenty of information offered for travellers.
