  Location is excellent Price is good Staff is friendly & knowledgeable Although they may need renewal soon, the facilities are satisfactorily maintained - Close to town yet affordable, very friendly staff and newly renovated facilities including a great bar. Great value.

  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and nothing appeared too much for them. The artwork on the walls is not your standard motel stuff but is uniquely Tasmanian in tone, - Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue - the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location very close to the city. Tariff was fair'ish for basic room used just for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50 for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability. Overall a satisfactory one night stay.

  The booking-in lady was really lovely and helpful.Being able to park our luggage trailer under cover was big bonus.Beds were comfortable,loved being able to make an early cuppa in room.Thanks, wish there were other places in Tassie like it. - Good value for money and great location.
