Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast at the recommended street cafe was vast and best value I had in whole 3 week trip. Although this isn't in centre of Brisbane it is ideally located.

  Excellent location, within walking distance to Brisbane CBD AND BRISBANE SOUTHBANK AREA.. reasonable price and the facilities are very comfortable and within our expectation. Will definitely return to the hotel again in the future. The staffs are also friendly and helpful .. Close to footy grounds the Barricks movie/shopping precinct. Comfortable and excellant Restaurant actually one of the best I have eaten at in Brisbane, great breaky, coffee shop and pool area. I would defiantely go back.

  I have stayed in 4and 5 star hotels which would not rate as well as South Central. Design, decor and layout were excellent. A bonus also is the rooftop pool. I was fortunate to be upgraded to a larger apartment which would have been wonderful had I been travelling with company.   We liked the size of the bedroom. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location is gorgeous, a few minutes by walking from the CBD, a little bit more from South bank but there's a rental bikes station close to the hostel and it's very cheap so you don't have to take any transport if you want to visit the whole city. Asked for "high & quiet" room which I got. I've paid twice this for a comparable room in a comparable location. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely stay here again. - I read lots of very negative on-line reviews about this hotel; so upon arrival, I was apprehensive. But I was surprised - location was perfect for the price I pay. Service was good and my room, towel and linen were clean. I would recommend this hotel again to any solo traveller especially ones on business trips. I wouldn't recommend it to a family on long holiday trips as size of standard room is small.
