  My adult daughter & I Were attending a workshop at Bardon. The accomodation was very clean & cost was good for us& even though it was close toYHA & Backpackers acc, it was not Noisy. - Its an old 1877 cottage what you would expect. Easy self check in and out. convienant location.Budget and cosy. Easy walking to city and surrounds.

  Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good. - The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

  Nice decent staff that could help us out with our queries. Could park the car on their driveway for $5 as the usual free roads round the corner were rammed with cars visiting the stadium for big matches. Well equipped kitchen and lots of fridge space. Decent communal area where people can chat and socialize.
