  My wife and I liked, scratch that, loved everything about Desert Quail Inn. From the friendly check-in with the owner Nick, to the very clean, cool modern rooms. The hotel felt new. There is convenient parking steps from your room and the location is awesome. Steps from a grocery store and an awesome little Cafe tucked behind the DQI. This hotel was excellent. The manager was so very helpful, Clean, beautiful rms. We had 2. Ours had a fireplace & sitting area. We ate breakfast within walking distance & rt behind the hotel is a mini market to full our refrigerator with food & drink, also a microwave. We ate in town in Sedona 1 night. It is very expensive. So we bought sandwich fixings for the remainer 3 days. The view of the Red Rocks is breaktaking & can be seen from our 2nd floor balcony! We were

  This is an ideal little hotel for the Sedona area. Very reasonable, yet quite nice. The rooms were large and clean with amenities. The free breakfast was quite adequate. Located on the main road in the center of Oak Creek (gps n33.59132 W112.01402) so easy to find. Arizona Tourist Center next door for info. Iron & ironing board, and laundry service is available so you can pack light if you wish. Nic - What a fantastic area! This hotel is a few minutes outside the main town and is ideal as away from the busy area of town. Outlet mall round the corner with restraunts and a great coffee shop just across the road. It is close to many of the local sights. The restraunt we used which is in the mall does very good food but the service is slow but makes you smile - we thought they must be on something!   The rooms are basic, but an excellent value in Sedona for the money. The beds were very comfortable. Good air conditioner (a must in the summer!). Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on activities and places to eat. They were also happy to work with us on our late arrival to the property.   The beds at the Super 8 were very comfortable and I like the linens that were used on the king size bed. There was a clean white cover over the bed instead of the usual old floral bedspread that you see most places. I am never sure if those old spreads are washed after every guest and this coverlet clearly was. Loved the new TV in our room as well... hva folk sier » . - I called the day before my arrival to ask if I could switch my 2 dbl bed to a king bed. Unfortunately there were non available, but I was told to check again the next day. I was unable to call and a room opened up. I was remembered and they held it for me. Best service I'd had in too long.
