Ferndale hotel is on its own nestled high up on a ledge surrounded by trees making it a very cosy romantic place to stay just what we wanted and the four poster room number 6 was clean and the bed was beautiful and comfortable. We loved everything about the Tusker Hotel, we just wanted somewhere reasonable and nice to stay and that is exactly what we got here. We were greeted with a friendly face when we arrived and shown to a lovely little cosy room, basic and small but all we needed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast good. A front and back entrance available for late night returns without disturbing anyone. Located within a short walk of the sea front and shops. Overall, a pleasant stay and good value for money. Would stay there again.

I can certainly recommend this hotel to anybody whol is thinking of booking a hotel in Torquay. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Our room which was on the top floor (which I asked for) was lovely.

Nice white towels, tea/coffee making facilties - Staff at the hotel were so friendly and it was great to see a young couple with a family working so well together. We will certainly be going back and the next time we will be taking our family with us. Thanks again for making our weekend break so memorable.

the games room, we used the most.there was a very gfood singer, that was not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to like it , and we could enjoy it,but still play pool etc in the annex off from it, so it was well thought out - Very impressed by naveens hospitality and even upgraded myroom...nice one!

However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.
