Fantastic breakfast which was cooked to order as given a menu sheet to choose options the night before. Informative folder in the room full of useful information about the local area such as directions, things to do and restaurants etc. Well stocked tea tray in room and owners very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. Though some of the corridors had that slightly battered look of many
older seaside hotels, the bedroom was very comfortable and the public
rooms most attractive. The bathroom was a decent size and well equipped.
Breakfast was excellent: buffet breakfasts certainly have their
advantages, but it was a pleasant change to be served by attentive staff
from a generous menu with a great view of the South Bay.
