  Having read some reviews we were quite well prepared and so asked for an apartment with the bedroom at the back (apt 2). The location is also brilliant, just two - My Young Street Apartments are located in the new section of town, a 15 minute walk from the train station. It's a great location to see the city. We stayed in apartment 2, which was perfect for our needs. The apartment was spacious, with a newly refurbished bathroom, a full kitchen, and a large sitting room in addition to the comfy bedroom.   The whole experience at The Hostel was great! the employees at the Hostel went out of their way to help you with any kind of problems and queries. You felt like you where more around friends than just an ordinary guest. The breakfast was useful and for 2 pounds very sufficient. The hostels atmosphere and areas where very spacious and made it easy... hva folk sier » to mingle and meet other traveler or just find a quiet corner to read a nice book. The showers and kitchen where among the better once I have seen in - The staff is great and stayed up late to be able to check me in even though it was past their reception hours, and she had a great and fun attitude even though I had woken her up. The hostel wants to become the best hostel in Edinburgh and are open to critique which gave me the sense that I was a honored guest and I felt very welcome. A pretty good hostel.

  It was lovely and the room was spacious and comfortable. ArdenGuestHouse is in the perfect location. Across the street from the oldest golf course in the world. If you like horses, there is also a race track. It's in Musselburgh, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The family who runs the b&b is friendly, warm and accommodating. Can't wait to go back! - Very friendly people, and a lovely large room with an extremely comfortable bed. The bedrooms had ample storage space and wardrobe areas so were great. Overall a lovely clean apartment.

  A lovely apartment (Haddington Place), which despite being on a very busy corner is quiet (esp. in the bedrooms) with loads of light. Excellent location for everything (bus stops are about two blocks up, so no loitering near-by). Linens provided were very nice. - There's nothing to complain about this beautiful modern, spacious apartment. We travelled with our 25 yr old daughter. Location was excellent. Nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's about a 20 minute walk to Princes Street. We did not mind. There are buses going that way every 10 mins. Apartment had a nice homely feel with a lovely private garden which we enjoyed. Much better than living in an hotel room. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

The room when we arrived back was simp - Gareth was an excellent, charming and affable host. The room - 4- was very comfortable and tastefully furnished.(the 'detached' en suite was managed very well and we appreciated the robes) I have a thing about white cotton sheets and towels and Fraoch House gets first prize! Excellent! My cooked breakfast of smoked salmon, cream chees and bagel was delicious! Just right :-) My husband went for the full Scottish and he was equally pleased.
