The room was lovely and spacious, comfortable and warm. As a sole traveller I had a twin room with settee and TV. The en suite bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water. It felt like a home from home. Beautiful decor. Very close to town and all amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. I shall visit again when I am next

Staff so friendly. You were made to feel so welcome and everything was explained clearly. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was cooked to order and it was piping hot and so tasty. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends

The staff are friendly, easy access to a restaurant, the staff reserve a table for you should you wish to eat at the restaurant. As a PI guest, we had a voucher which gave us a buy one get one free at the restaurant which was great! Obviously, this was a promotion, so we're not sure how often this happens. The Mountsorrel is a good guest house which has easy access for both Loughborough & Leicester & nearby countryside. It is well maintained & decorated with most elements a visitor might need. The owners are friendly & helpful. The parking is good too.

I was called on the day of my stay - wow never expected that. So lovely to feel that our custom is valued. We arrived later in the evening but the receptionist (could not see her Name - no glasses on!) was so lovely and friendly as was her colleague on the morning we left. Never been to such a friendly place. -

Rooms a third bigger than we imagined and recently refurbished. Heating efficient and responsive. Restaurant Staff extremely helpful and kind to my 90 year old Mum who was with us in another room. Did toast etc for us and really looked,after us despite cafe being very busy.

We arrived after a long journey which was held up by bad accident. Staff were friendly and welcoming and got our booking sorted quickly so we could relax and enjoy a meal and drinks at the bar. Bar staff were very accommodating and very helpful bearing in mind we were very tired. Any queries were quickly investigated and sorted. Excellent service

Absolutely brilliant experience. Knowledgable and friendly staff, who welcoming and helpful. Cleanliness was second to none, restaurant very good. When my husband had a bit of a choking fit he was brought a glass of water without having to ask. Felt very looked after. Can't give you enough praise. Breakfast excellent too. -
New, very clean and equipped with everything you need on a stop-off,
spacious, well-thought- out rooms with plenty of towels, pillows, plug
sockets etc. Theres a pub-grub type restaurant ideal for when youre just
passing through and dont want to have to venture out, and breakfast was
excellent. Great option for the money.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes on foot from the railway station and the city center. Breakfast is served from early in the morning till 10 a.m. If no hot food is left, the staff is ready to cook it for you very quickly. It is possible to leave the luggage in a secure area and collect it later. The hotel serves dinners till 9 p.m. The room is spacious, comfortable, quiet, has air conditioning and a table if you need to work. WiFi is available for additional price and works fast.
