  Right from the start, I was made to feel warmly welcomed and I was picked up from the airport on arrival which was a welcome change for a solo traveller. La Roche is a beautiful house and the room I stayed in was luxurious, clean and comfortable. I shared a bathroom and toilet with the room next door but this was not a problem and worked very we... hva folk sier » ll. The owners, Jane and David were exquisite hosts. They were really helpful about what to see and the best way of getting there. Breakfasts were - David and Jane were probably the friendliest and nicest B&B owners I've ever met. Had a nice long chat, they offered a glass of wine and they were very interesting people. The room was also very nice and clean. They really helped make my stay in Guernsey memorable and enjoyable.

  The room was excellent, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the restaurant team. The hotel is very close to the main shopping area but still private when accessed through its courtyard. You are only five minutes from the harbour front where there is a large array of yatchs and a commercial harbour where ferries leave for o... hva folk sier » ther Channel Islands and Poole, Weymouth etc. You can drive around the island of Guernsey quite easily in a day and there are many really good beache - We needed to shift from room 43 as the lack of hot water was unacceptable, but the reception were very helpful in finding an alternative, and room 17 was fine, though the sink was very awkward to negotiate. Breakfasts were excellent; quick service and individually cooked.

  The room was good size very clean and fresh and the hotel food was great .I stay in hotels every week and this was one of the best stays I have experienced will be back .thanks to all the staff - The health suite and early check in. The breakfast was very good too.

  Abbey Court Hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed in the family room, which has the children's room separate from the parents', separated by 2 doors, so there is privacy whilst still easy access to the children, and they are within hearing distance. The rooms are small but with enough space to move around. W - The wife of the owner of the hotel was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind and made me a sandwich in the middle of the day when the kitchen was obviously not open. She knew I was having a horrible day and was so sweet, purely out of the graciousness of her own heart. What a lovely hotel and staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and personal.

  We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, especially Donna the manageress who was extremely helpful all the time. We liked the cleanliness and the fact that the towels and drink making facilities were renewed every day. If we go back to Guernsey this will definitely be our first choice to stay. - To be honest there was nothing we didn't like.We loved our room (27).The beds were very comfortable,the bedding and towels clean and fresh.David,Carla,Alex and Philippa were superb and looked after us really well and we let them know this.Thanks too to the kitchen staff whose meals we enjoyed each evening.We also enjoyed the entertainment whilst we were there.
