The hotel was excellent and certainly lived up to it's description and reviews. Marion and Les (the owners) were very welcoming (the pot of tea on arrival was very much appreciated). The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. We couldn't have asked for more. Good location, close to Torquay centre had parking facilities at rear of hotel and parking at front of hotel which was very good as difficult to park in Torquay centre. Very clean rooms with everything that is needed. The dining room and lounge were very comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of variety. Tea and coffee offered in abundance. The proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful when my mother became ill whilst we were staying there.
The room was very clean and furnished with a modern taste.
There was a good amount of tea, coffee, milk etc and a couple of small touches such as a chocolate and some biscuits made it feel special.
The breakfast was well cooked and served promptly.
